Mechanical Planter in operation

This year we are offering the use of a mechanical planter to give you a faster, cleaner and ultimately more cost effective means of getting your bulbs planted.

• High output
This mechanical planter can put down (subject to soil conditions) 10,000 daffodils or 25,000 crocus per hour.
• Clean operation
Used on a standard 35hp landscape tractor, this machine cuts the turf, a ploughshear lifts the sod, the feeder drops the bulbs into the opening, and the sod is reinstated and padded down by the wheels. No damage - clean operation.

• Project enabler
Where the cost of planting by hand is proving so expensive or time consuming as to prevent a project going ahead, the planter reduces the cost per bulb planted or per metre area significantly.
